The Siemens Opcenter APS we use is a planning tool whose greatest strength lies in scheduling: the detailed operational planning of production orders in large manufacturing companies. We are absolute specialists and experts in Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and have best practices for planning processes as well as excellent know-how in IT and algorithms.

Our goal: By using detailed planning software with heuristics and other mathematical optimisation methods, including artificial intelligence, we optimise our customers’ profitability and reduce waste in production.

What Do We Expect from You?
- At least 3 years of professional experience in
- industry, as a consultant or in a comparable role
- Previous experience in production planning
- Knowledge of ERP systems, in particular SAP
- Strong analytical thinking and good communication skills
- Fascination with innovative technology, digitalisation and sustainability
- Willingness to develop further
- Willingness to travel
- Very good German and English skills
Working in our strong team, you will develop into an APS & Algorithm Expert in your projects.
What Is Your Area of Responsibility at MCP?
As an APS consultant, you will work as part of a team to support our customers from the design stage right through to the commissioning of Opcenter APS.
In a Nutshell:
- Overall technical responsibility for group customers
- Main point of contact for customers
- Conducting workshops with customers
- Requirement analysis, concept and solution design, creation of specifications
- Data analysis and preparation of recommendations for action
- Implementation of work packages for customising the Opcenter APS solution in an agile development process (SCRUM, Kanban)
- Testing with the customer
- Support during go-live
- Knowledge building and exchange of experience within the team

- Performance-based pay starting at €4,000/month* – depending on qualifications and previous experience
